Kirsten Brooks
Kirsten is Dryad’s Training Manager, having joined the company in July 2011.
Kirsten joined the Royal Navy in 1992 as a Seaman Officer and following an ‘in service’ degree and gaining her bridge watch keeping certificate she transferred branch to become an ‘Engineer Training Manager’ (or Instructor Officer). Engineer Training Managers are responsible for implementing the Defence Systems Approach to training in all its forms from initial and continuation training to individual and collective training.
Kirsten has broad and deep knowledge of audit, quality control and prior to leaving the navy in late 2010, she worked on the training requirements for the new T45 Destroyer and Queen Elizabeth class aircraft carriers as a member of Flag Officer Sea Training ‘FOST’ staff.
Kirsten’s responsibility in Dryad is to formalise and administrate initial and continuation training as well as develop formal Training and Operational Performance Standards (TPS/OPS) for deployed security team leaders and team members.
