Initial passage plan
Our vessel specific monitoring services are designed to guide you through high risk areas with minimal disruption to your route and provide
maximum reassurance for captains and crew.
Assigned to your vessel prior to departure and for the duration of passage, a Dryad Operations Consultant will plot and track your vessel’s progress according to an agreed passage plan and relative to any developing threats.
Where the vessel’s position or a change in threat activity causes an increase in risk, the vessel is forewarned and offered deviation advice as necessary.
Two levels of service are available:
- Full Vessel Safety Monitoring – recommended for high risk areas
- Situation Monitoring – recommended when skirting high risk areas or for less vulnerable vessels
Mindful of your budget restrictions, during ocean passage we will automatically increase/reduce your monitoring service as the need and risk zones dictate.

Whilst in receipt of our services, your Operations Consultant will be available to you for advice, reassurance and planning assistance 24 hours/7 days per week so you have the most comprehensive intelligence when you need it the most.
